Events After 4 weeks of mountain climbers,
sprints and push-ups, what are you going to do with your shiny

to the test with these local races, events and running clubs.
Spartan Race Saturday, August 28
Amesbury, MA
The Spartan Race is an international running
series that revives the spirit of an adventurous age. The
race is designed to test your resilience, strength, stamina
and ability to laugh in the face of adversity. This unique
5k includes 12 crazy obstacles and will demand every ounce
of your strength and ingenuity.
Ultimate Bootcamp is the official Greater
Boston training partner for the Massachusetts Spartan Race.
All Ultimate Bootcampers and their friends get $10 off the
Boston Spartan Race registration fee. Plus, you can attend
a FREE Spartan-themed Ultimate Bootcamp workout. Details to

Heats of 250 racers will be starting at
10am and running every 30 minutes with the last heat starting
at 3:30pm.
Shift Options:
Full Day Shift: 7:45am - 4:45pm. Mandatory meeting at 7:45am.
Morning Shift: 7:45am - 12:45pm. Mandatory meeting at 7:45am.
Afternoon Shift: 11:45am - 4:45pm. Mandatory meeting at 11:45am.
Volunteer Needs:
Male Spartans --Dress up in our Spartan
Costume to Joust people on course and work the finish line/area.
Female Spartans -- Dress up in our Spartan
Costume to work the finish line/area.
Registration and timing Support
Course Marshals and Obstacle Captains
Standing at critical junctions or obstacles
on the course to give direction/instruction and assess penalties
if needed.
Half-shift volunteers will receive a free
Spartan shirt, free food and drink, and free race entry into
next year's race. Full shift volunteers will receive a free
Spartan shirt, free food and drink, free race entry into next
year's race, and also be gifted $50.00 cash.

Themed Bootcamps Saturday, September 11th

The unofficial start to fall isn't Labor
Day, it's the beginning of Football Season!
Help us kick off one of our most favorite
times of the year with a Football-Themed Saturday Morning
Bootcamp Workout. Wear your favorite team colors or alma mater
gear as we tackle an awesome 90 minute workout.
High-energy cardio drills and full-body
muscle toning exercises will be mixed with fun football drills
that ANYONE can do. You don't need the sprinting skills of
a wide receiver or the strengh of a lineman to excel at this
fast-paced, co-ed workout. Both beginner (BASICS) and advanced
(BLAST) classes are available.
The newly formed Revolutionary Running
Club - a social and athletic club based in Charlestown - invites
Ultimate Bootcampers along for the fun! The club hosts a weekly
fun run that departs every Wednesday night at 7:00PM from
Ironsides Bar & Grill, then returns for a post run club
social. The club also meets on Sunday mornings at 8:00 AM
in front of Zume’s Coffee Shop for longer runs along
the Charles River.
The club was founded by two experienced
local marathon coaches who realized running can be a lonely
sport. Dan Graovac and Kelly Flynn formed the club with the
goal of connecting like-minded runners throughout the Greater
Boston area who wanted to get more out of their runs while
enjoying the social aspects of the sport.
While there is an annual membership fee
of $35 for individuals or $50 for a family, Dan & Kelly
invite Ultimate Bootcampers to join them for a Wednesday night
run to see if the club is for you. They are confident that
once you go out for a club run you will become a regular attendee
on Wednesday nights!
